Charlot is what Italian call a “Rosticceria”. There you can take away for a small price really good food. From the little potatoe balls to the arancini, You will like everything in this place. One of their specialities is, of course, pizza ! I advice you to do like a lot of salernitan and to take away slices of pizza ( with some crochè if you are hungry, they worth you to taste it ) and to go to seat in front of the sea. Near Charlot, you will find the sea promenade of Salerno with a lot of places to seat and appreciate the moment.

You will need a car to reach this restaurant and you need to know that you will not arrive in a front sea or in a cute street of salerno. But, trust me, if you go there it’s not for the frame but for its “pizza fritta”.
